La critique ne se porte pas non plus sur la période visitée. Au contraire, c’est un moment très important de l’Histoire, et le point de départ de la franchise Call of Duty. En apportant les spécificités “ classiques ” de la série, le retour aux sources colle donc parfaitement avec le jeu. Et on peut le constater dès la première cinématique. Sans oublier les graphismes et l’ambiance, qui sont aussi époustouflants. Mais avec toute la bonne volonté du monde, on ne peut que remarquer le manque d’originalité de la part des développeurs. Call of Duty WWII n’est pas à la hauteur de la campagne de pub menée par Activision Sur les premières minutes de jeu, on retrouve la même ambiance que lors du débarquement dans Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Sauf que sur WWII, la prise des plages normandes est beaucoup moins longue, et plus facile. Mais ce n’est qu’un détail. Sur la durée, la campagne est très légère, et ne se termine qu’en huit heure cinématiques comprises, pour un total de 11 missions. Sur ce point, on est loin de la “ source ” et des vingt heures de jeu sur les premiers opus. Si on ajoute à cela la médiocrité des dialogues, ce mode est assez décevant. Des joueurs vont jusqu’à dire que l’immersion était bien mieux réussie sur World At War. Notez que ce dernier faisait son arrivée il y a déjà dix ans. On revient très brièvement sur le mode multijoueur, très peu fourni 9 petites cartes contre 16 sur MW2 et 14 sur Black Ops et beaucoup trop simple. Le mode PvP est un ratage complet, avec 3 maps plus grandes, jouables en 6v6. Et pour continuer sur cette magnifique série, sachez que le mode zombie a été bien écorché lui aussi. Avec une seule carte, et un manque de coopération flagrant, il n’a pas été épargné. Tout ça pour dire que si Call of Duty WWII est “ sympathique ”, il n’est absolument pas à la hauteur de ce que promettait Activision et Sledgehammer. Como ya hemos comentado este cod fue lanzado concretamente el 29 de septiembre de 2017 para la versión de pc, en consolas apareció el 3 de noviembre del 2017. Pensaras que no solicitará mucho hardware a tu pc, todo lo contrario, para ya tener casi 2 años pide una gran cantidad de memoria ram y si quieres jugar por todo lo alto sus requerimientos aumentan desproporcionadamente. Se nota que Activision no optimizaron en absoluto muy bien este juego y en sus inicios muchos usuarios se quejaron del rendimiento y por la aparición de chetos que utilizaban aimbots.
